FA's views regarding Chelsea's behaviour
Refree Mark Hasley reported an incident to the FA that the Chelsea players surrounded him after a foul commited by Ronnie Wallwork of West Bromwich Albion in the thier match between Chelsea which The Blues won. The FA have charged Chelsea for making sure that the players conducted themselves in a proper way. The maximum ammount charged in such cases is £250,000, but the Football Association has decided just to charge a penealty of £5,000 and to warn Chelsea of thier behaviour. Hasley had reported that the players were pressureizing him at that stage. Another incident was also reported, this one being the foul commited by Arjen Robben which resulted into furious reaction by both teams. In the end, it was a Chelsea player that was sent off. The two managers were also involved in some sort of argument in the technical area. Refree's report also included a late start of Cheslea in the second half.
