Fowler on heat for Liverpool

Robbie Fowler provided the neccessary goal for Liverpool against Blackburn, tightening situations up for Manchester United as they race towards grabbing 2nd position in the Premier League. Liverpool, now third, continue thier winning streak and Fowler scores his fourth in the last five matches. Fowler arrived in Liverpool in January from Manchester City and has outdone himself by providing Rafael Benetiz a gift for his 46th birthday. The goal came when Morientes made the oppurtunity for Fowler who shot it in just 10 yards away from the net though he was almost 6 yards offside. However the linesman could not detect the offside from his angle and declared it a clean goal. He had to face the fury of the Blackburn players but stood firm on his decision. Robbie's contract finishes this summer but Rafael should be thinking of extending it.
