Arsenal victory-warning for Villareal

Arsenal enjoy thier pleasing victory, even though they had to go with a draw in the second-leg against Juventus, but putting a nice 2-0 score in the first-leg. After an extreamely long period of time, Arsenal have qualified for the semis in the UEFA Champios League. At this stage, they are preparing to meet Villareal, who miraculously meet Inter Milan in the quarter-finals. Arsenal are these days considered amognst the favourites of all clubs, as they luckily beat club after club. But accroding to Arsene Wenger, they are not the favourites as no one had expected neither them nor Villareal to reach the semi-finals. Wenger seems pleased eith his team's performance this year as they have lost thrice at the quarter-finals. Arsenal will be having a pretty tough time as after thier first-leg against Villareal, they have a game right after three days against Tottenham and then they face Villareal again on the following tuesday. It will not be easy for them.

Owen hoping another game before World Cup

Newcastle United's striker Michael Owen said that he would be playing another match in the black and white uniform of Newcastle before the start of the FIFA World Cup. Owen fights for retrieval from his foot-injury to be fit for the World Cup and probably one more match before that which might be the one against the leaders Chelsea on May 7. Owen panicked when he was informed by the surgoen that his foot did not heel fully last month and that he would have to under-go another operation. His first one guarenteed him him only six-weeks time of play and relief from pain so he decided to go for the next operation. The whole of his country now hope for him to have an early come back, enough for him to be selected in the World Cup squad by Sven-Goran Eriksson.
