Eriksson seeking a job-may end in Madrid
Sven-Goran Eriksson is on a hunt for a job as a manger for a club or country as he will be leaving his post as manager for England. He may end up in Real Madrid as Florentino Perez, owner of Madrid, is a great admirer of his and wishes him to be in his club. Eriksson is reported to have said, "If Real Madrid had called me at any time in the past, I would have gone for sure." The coach is a bit of a stopgap as he will loose his credit which he recieves now if another manager arrives. He said that he hasn't recieved any offers yet and that he will wait till the end of the World Cup, but he boldly states that he will not let any interferance come in the preparation of the World Cup for his current team and he will not sit down and have a chat with someone during this time.
