Skocks!!
After having a conquering season so far, the Premier League leaders Arsenal, suffer a loss to Middlesbrough at Riverside. To some, their stunning form made an impression that they would be invincible through out this season. But Middlesbrough finally made their opponents face defeat at home as Stuart Downing converted a penalty for his team and took the lead just a few minutes after the start of the match. Tuncay Sanli scored for Boro midway in the second half and doubled the lead. Tomas Risicky's goal was too late in the game and couldn't help Arsenal out of the mess. The whistle blew off leaving Boro delighted as they cleared off from the relegation zone, while Arsenal were in misery.
The second shock came at Reading's home as they triumphed over Liverpool with a comfortable 3-1 victory. The opening goal from Stephen Hunt from the penalty area couldn't prove much as it was equalized on the other side by captain Steven Gerrard. Soon after half-time, Reading's hopes were restored by a goal from Kevin Doyle and they were confirmed by James Harper when he dodged past keeper Reina and took a two-goal lead which remained till the end of the match.
